Dr. Kalani’s education began with an LL.B. from Government Law College Mumbai, where she gained a solid legal foundation and polished her analytical talents. Her interest in the subject and desire for intellectual progress inspired her to seek an LL.M. from the University of Mumbai’s Department of Law. She dug deeper into her areas of interest throughout her postgraduate studies, which included Contract Law, Intellectual Property Rights, Cyber Laws, and Property Laws. She decided to pursue a Ph.D. because she wanted to learn more and make a difference in the world.

Her Ph.D. thesis on Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) was a watershed moment in her academic career. She devoted her study to developing a new ODR model geared exclusively for consumer and family disputes. This ground-breaking work demonstrated her ability to blend theoretical insights with practical solutions, displaying her dedication to addressing real-world legal issues.

Suman is a distinguished law academician, researcher, and author noted for her legal skills in a variety of fields. She has made major contributions to the field of legal education and research due to her strong educational background and abundance of experience. She has also excelled as a teacher and mentor in addition to her administrative responsibilities. Her educational approach focuses on the practical application of legal principles, encouraging students to think critically and develop problem-solving abilities.
