Namita Shah is the Co-Founder of Presolv360, one of India’s pioneering platforms in Online Dispute Resolution (ODR), and a recognized LegalTech leader transforming how justice is delivered in the digital age.

A Chartered Accountant, Lawyer, and CPA (USA), Namita blends financial acumen with legal insight and a visionary approach to technology. Featured across leading platforms like YourStory, The Chronicle, Youth Ki Awaaz, and The Legal Forecast, and heard on 94.3 and 91 FM radio, she is celebrated for her mission to make dispute resolution faster, fairer, and more accessible.

Her work has earned her recognition among the Top 60 Women Transforming India by the Government of India — a testament to her leadership and contribution to the evolution of LegalTech and access to justice.

Namita’s journey from the corridors of EY to building a globally recognized legal startup is not just about innovation—it’s about empathy meeting efficiency, and design thinking reimagining the future of law.

Born into a family of doctors in Mumbai, Namita learned early what she didn’t want before she discovered what she did. Drawn to commerce, she pursued Chartered Accountancy and began her career with Ernst & Young, followed by work in the luxury and jewelry industry. But the real spark came when she entered the world of law.

While studying law, she frequently visited courtrooms—and one realization changed her life: justice delayed is justice denied. Witnessing cases drag on for decades planted a question in her mind:

“Why is dispute resolution still a privilege in the 21st century?”

That question became the seed of Presolv360, co-founded with Bhavna and Aman, after a deeply personal case involving a 29-year-long litigation experience in their family.

Their vision was bold—resolve disputes before they become court battles.
Thus, “Presolv” was born, named intentionally without the final “E” to symbolize ego left out of resolution, and “360” representing a holistic, inclusive view of justice.

Through law, technology, and design, Namita and her team have built an ecosystem that allows individuals, corporates, and institutions to settle disputes online—empowering communities and unclogging courtrooms.

Her journey reflects courage, compassion, and a quiet revolution—proof that when law meets design, justice becomes human again.

Key Highlights of the Koffee Conversation with Namita Shah:

  • She narrated how Presolv360 emerged from witnessing a 29-year family legal battle, turning personal pain into purpose.
  • The name “Presolv” symbolizes solving disputes early and removing ego from the process, while “360” reflects inclusive, all-round solutions.
  • She described how law and technology can blend creatively, transforming dispute resolution from courtrooms to click-based collaboration.
  • Namita discussed how mediation is like meditation—a calm process that resolves conflicts while preserving relationships.
  • She opened up about early struggles convincing traditional lawyers and institutions to adopt ODR—especially before the pandemic—when law and tech rarely spoke the same language.
  • Namita proudly shared that Presolv360 now covers nearly 70% of India’s pin codes, including remote regions and vernacular users—proof of true inclusivity.
  • Her most moving case: a widow awaiting insurance compensation for years, who finally received it within five weeks through Presolv360 mediation—an emotional validation of impact.
  • Namita emphasized that ODR doesn’t replace lawyers—it complements them, addressing millions of small-value cases that courts cannot resolve efficiently.
  • She envisioned a shift where ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) becomes “Appropriate Dispute Resolution”, and ODR becomes “Optimal Dispute Resolution.”
  • She celebrated how LegalTech is now gaining recognition, with incubators, investors, and startups embracing the sector as a serious growth frontier.
  • Her five-year vision for Presolv360: make India a global ODR leader, just as it did with UPI, setting a worldwide example of scalable, inclusive justice.
  • On leadership, Namita described her company as a family built on empathy and ethics, where feedback flows both ways and people “look forward to Monday mornings.”
  • She credited her success to values-first hiring, believing that skills can be trained but ethics can’t.
  • As a mentor, she inspires law and CA students to see entrepreneurship as a path, encouraging them to become job creators, not just job seekers.
