Karan is a Principal Associate at a leading IP law firm, with over 12 years of hands-on experience in trademark and copyright advisory, litigation, mediation, and domain name dispute resolution. Known for his strategic sharpness, courtroom clarity, and fierce advocacy for innovation, Karan stands at the intersection of law, creativity, and commerce. His journey is not just one of professional excellence, but also of resilience, inclusion, and purpose-driven growth.

Beyond the courtroom, Karan is an inspiring voice on disability inclusion in the legal profession, proving every day that disability is not a limitation, but a source of resilience and strength. His story reflects courage, adaptability, and an unshakable belief in merit, dignity, and equal opportunity.

Raised in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, Karan grew up in a family rooted in the pharmaceutical industry β€” a world far removed from statutes, litigation, and courtrooms. Living with cerebral palsy, he learned early what it meant to fight to be seen and heard. His journey toward law began with debating and public speaking, where he discovered the power of voice and advocacy.

He pursued Political Science (Honours) from Hindu College, Delhi University, where his exposure to constitutional law and power structures ignited his passion for the legal profession. This led him to the Campus Law Centre, where he formally found his calling in law β€” especially Intellectual Property, a space where creativity, business, and legal protection converge.

Karan began his IP journey at Anand & Anand, where he trained under stalwarts Pravin Anand and Bina Kalra, learning the art of courtroom strategy, research rigor, and commercial-aligned litigation.
